Thriving Villages (TVI) was started by Dr. Benjamin Fredrick to address the needs he personally saw in rural Haiti. 

If you think Dr Ben's mission is just about medicine you would be wrong.  He understands that just providing medical supplies will only fix a problem for a short time if the people do not have clean water, good food, and way to make a living.  There are many ways you can help and if you take some time to look through the site you may find a way that suits you too.
